About

Regina Leffers McCaleb, Ph.D.

My undergraduate degrees are in Psychology and Philosophy and I earned my doctoral degree in Philosophy from Purdue University.

Creativity, Meditation, Sustainability, Teaching, and expressing Kindness are what I aspire to and value most in myself.  I teach workshops and retreats that revolve around these core values.

Some of my favorite ways to express creativity are through teaching my workshops, painting and writing.  I have begun each day with meditation for 37 years.  My emphasis has been on living a sustainable life–a value passed on to me from my mom–and that theme has carried through all of my working life.  I am a natural teacher, and believe that random acts of kindness could heal whatever ails this world.

I was the Director of the Center of Excellence for the Built Environment for the College of Engineering, Purdue University, Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Professor of Sustainable Construction.  Prior to that, I was one of the founders of the Northeast Indiana Green Build Coalition, a precursor to the Northeast Indiana Chapter of the United States Green Build Council.  I served for many years as the CFO and Operations Manager for Paul Davis Systems of Northeast Indiana, and was a founding owner of Synergid Commercial, a construction company which specialized in sustainable construction.
